Asdiqa

I've had a few people ask me what "asdiqafibaltimore" and "sadiq" mean, so to all of you out there who don't speak Arabic, here are the definitions:

asdiqa--friends
fi--in
sadiq--friend

So "asdiqafibaltimore" would mean "friends in Baltimore", and my handle, "sadiq", would be "friend" or "a friend".

Now you won't think it's a code word for terrorists. :)

Ahhhhh.

I had just assumed that 'sadiq' was a normal name in arabic (kinda like how in French class our teacher made us all pick a French name and we went by that in class.)

Asdiqa looked so close to sadiq that I assumed you just switched the letters on purpose because the username was already taken......

blarg. I haven't even been online in three days, I should probably actually read all your entries before I comment <.<

Close. A lot of plural words in Arabic are the same as their singular, but a couple of words are switched around. Not too different from English, really.
